Deductible Savings BenefitSM (DSB)? What is this? DSB is a MetLife Auto & Home reward for claim-free drivers. For every claim-free year, your household could earn $50 toward your collision or comprehensive deductible, up to $250 maximum. The DSB is part of Auto Advantage SM that comes with every** MetLife® Auto policy. Why is this benefit important? Let’s say you normally carried a $250 deductible on your auto policy. After accumulating a DSB of $250 with MetLife Auto & Home, you could increase your auto deductible to $500, thus decreasing your premium, but, in the event of a covered loss, you’d be reimbursed $250 of the deductible. For example, if you accumulated a DSB of $250 and raised your deductible at that time to $500, if you then had an accident and needed to pay your deductible to get your vehicle fixed, you’d be reimbursed $250 as a result of DSB.
